Grilled Lettuce With Parmesan

Ingredients

  • 1 Bolted Lettuce or Romaine Lettuce
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pecorino romano
  • fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  • Slice lettuce directly down the middle of the interior stem, keeping each half in tact.
  • Place each lettuce half cut side up in a baking dish.
  • Season with olive oil and salt.
  • Grill cut down down for 3-5 minutes, or until nice and charred.
  • Flip lettuce and grill for another 3 minutes.
  • Place lettuce back in baking dish (or serving dish) and add freshly grated parmesan and a squeeze of lemon.
  • Serve immediately.
