Welcome to my site!
I’ve been farming and gardening organically for over 12 years in the Midwest, from rooftops in Chicago to acres of rolling grain fields in Michigan. You may have seen me growing food at Big Delicious Planet, Rick Bayless’ home garden & greenhouse, or at Granor Farm in Three Oaks, MI.
This blog is a place to share what I’ve learned in the garden and the kitchen with the hopes that everyone will grow and enjoy a little something for themselves. I live along the lake in Southwest Michigan with my husband and our greenhouse, Gertrude (Gertie for short).
